Family Night - Bowling!!

chosen for Student of the week!!! So, we had a special guest with us.
We started off by driving and all saying we were going to beat one another!!!! I even said I was out to beat Daddy, but we all knew that that wouldn't happen. But it was fun discussing it. It was

daddy's turn to listen to music so we "rocked out" to Sammy Hagar and
Sean and Daddy were the only ones getting into it,
but.... I said on the way home I got to listen to Love Songs, so I knew the "boys" would get pay
back with that!!!!! Once we got to the bowling alley, we all were excited and started picking out
our bowling balls. Even though the kids all picked the same kind of ball, you know we had to have three of them!!!! Of course I found a hot pink ball that suited me fine. So we are off to a good start and Daddy is knocking down those pins. Spare......Strike.......Strike.....Strike......... and so on!!!!!
As you can see to the left, that must have been one of the few times did OK. I was excited to have knocked down at least some pins!!!

During the course of the night another family was assigned an alley next to us and they had boys about 8 or 9 years old. Sean stared at them with envy because they had their own ball and they were bowling with their fingers in the holes. As Sean pay attention he approached his father and asked him to help him because he was determined that he could do it also. Although the ball was heavy he was able to carry the ball and drop it the best he could, and he never again approached the alley without his fingers in the ball. We enjoyed the great greasy food from the bowling alley and of course the time we spent together as a family. I have to admit, I did have a sense of deja vu. When I was a kid I do remember the times me and my sibling went to the bowling alley when my parents were on a league. I remember the food, the games and always being freezing. Ah the memories!!! Well the night ended and we were tired from bowling for 2 hours!!!!!!

January 2009
I decided last year that I would start a blog to keep track of my families life throughout the year. I do a horrible job of keeping pictures organized or even printing them out, or remembering great stories I swear I will remember, but forget, so I thought this would be a great way to remember my families life as it flies by.
So, we are in the year 2009 and Corinne is a 3rd grader, Alyssa is a 1st grader, and Sean is in Pre-K. This is our first year with all three children in school, and how it is bitter sweet!!! While it is so nice to have one pick up instead of two, juggling all the homework and projects can be overwhelming at times. Like my dad says "That's what you get paid the big bucks for."
Well, coming up is the Mardi Gras Ball we attend in Lake Charles, Corinne's birthday party, Alyssa's birthday party and then Easter. So, alot of blogging soon. Til then.....
